10000 TPD Industrial Ultrafiltration Water Treatment System Project (Algeria)
Project Overview
This large capacity ultrafiltration project located in Algeria, with a designed total treatment capacity of 10,000 tons per day (10000 TPD). The whole system is composed of multiple sets of skid-mounted ultrafiltration racks, equipped with vertical PVDF hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane elements.
Algeria faces water resource shortage, this UF plant works as the core pretreatment unit for raw water purification, providing qualified feed water for reverse osmosis desalination equipment to produce usable industrial water.
Process Description
Raw water enters the ultrafiltration membrane modules after preliminary pretreatment. The ultrafiltration membrane intercepts suspended solids, colloid, bacteria and particulate impurities in raw water. The system is equipped with automatic backwashing and online CIP chemical cleaning functions to ensure stable long-term continuous operation. The permeate meets the inlet requirement of RO system.
